Khielea Bodkin London ON Death, Obituary; KMB Hair Studio Stylist Sadly Passed Away Unexpectedly

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Khielea Bodkin of London, Ontario, who left this world unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the age of 35. Her passing at LHSC – Victoria Hospital has left her family, friends, and all who knew her heartbroken, as they mourn the loss of a bright, loving, and unforgettable soul whose presence brought so much joy to others.

Khielea was the devoted mother of her two precious sons, Logan and Lex Bodkin, who were the greatest loves of her life. She poured her heart and soul into motherhood, always putting her boys first and ensuring that they felt endlessly loved, supported, and protected. Together with Sean, she was an incredible co-parent—patient, fun, and deeply devoted to creating a loving environment for their family.

Born in Romania, Khielea was the beloved daughter of Tom and Sherry (Froats) Bodkin, who cherished her deeply and admired her fierce determination and zest for life. She was a loving sister and sister-in-law to Mikaela and Luke Vandenberk, and a proud aunt to River and Storm, who adored her vibrant energy and playful heart. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Gordon and Marion Froats, and Leo and Janet Bodkin, who now welcome her with love and peace.

Khielea was known for her big personality, infectious laughter, and boundless heart. She had a rare gift for making people feel special—whether it was through a kind word, a shared laugh, or a thoughtful surprise just to brighten someone’s day. Her warmth, humor, and light filled every space she entered, and her friends and family will forever remember her ability to make even ordinary moments feel extraordinary.

A talented and hardworking professional, Khielea found her calling in the beauty industry as a hairstylist, salon owner, and creative artist. She was deeply respected by her peers and loved by her clients for her artistry, dedication, and flair. She competed in hair color competitions, mastered intricate up-dos, and built lasting friendships through her work. For Khielea, styling hair was never just a job—it was a way to help others see their own beauty and confidence reflected back at them.

Outside of work, Khielea lived life to the fullest. She loved music, travel, and had a particular passion for Halloween, a holiday that spoke to her creative, playful nature. She approached life with enthusiasm and authenticity, never afraid to be herself. Those who knew her best will remember her as bold, funny, strong-willed, and endlessly loving.

Yet, behind her radiant smile, Khielea faced her own battles—moments of doubt and struggle that she worked through with quiet courage. She didn’t always recognize the immense love and admiration that surrounded her, but to those who knew her, she was a source of strength, laughter, and comfort. Her absence leaves an ache that words cannot fill, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

The Bodkin family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and entire team at LHSC – Victoria Hospital CCTC for their compassion and care.

A celebration of Khielea’s life will be held on Sunday, October 26th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lucan Community Centre (multi-purpose hall), 263 Main Street, Lucan, with words of remembrance shared at 2:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.
