Michelle’s sudden departure has left her family, friends, classmates, and the entire community devastated. As we come to terms with this loss, we remember her as a bright, compassionate young woman whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Her life, though tragically cut short, was filled with purpose, love, and the desire to make a positive impact on those around her.
Michelle Hua was born and raised in Tampa, a city she loved dearly. From a young age, Michelle exhibited a radiant smile and a gentle demeanor that drew people to her. She was known for her kindness, her genuine care for others, and her unwavering positivity. She had an innate ability to make those around her feel seen, valued, and loved. Her family recalls her as a source of joy and comfort, a daughter whose laughter and warmth brought light into their lives. To her friends, she was a loyal confidante and a dependable presence—someone who would always be there to listen, support, and uplift.
As a student at the University of South Florida, Michelle was deeply committed to her education and personal growth. In honoring Michelle’s memory, her family invites the community to gather and pay their respects. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, located at 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, Florida 33610. The following morning, a funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, October 30th, from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. at St. Joseph Vietnamese Parish, 5601 Hanley Rd., Tampa, Florida 33634. All friends, family, classmates, and community members are welcome to attend and honor Michelle’s life.
Though her time on earth was too brief, Michelle’s impact was profound. She lived with purpose, loved with an open heart, and inspired others to do the same. Her kindness and radiant spirit will be forever remembered, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her.
